The relationship between conservatives and the
Republican Party is like a troubled marriage. For the
sake of the kids- let’s try to work it out.

The recent “Report” from the RNC has driven many
Conservatives over the edge. Euphemistically, it
constituted the revealing pictures from the private eye
that prompted many a “That’s it-it’s over!” moment.
And some lobbying for the Libertarian Party or some
yet to be born third party play the role of the
busybody neighbor, whispering in the a tearful
Conservative’s ear, “Go ahead and leave that nasty
Party. They’ve been unfaithful. Storm out the door
and don’t look back!”

Sub-Dividing Conservatism Is
NOT Helpful
By S.J. Murphy, Editor

I was at a GOP gathering. I ran into a person who claimed to be a
“fiscal conservative”- not a “social conservative”. Later I saw a
survey on a national GOP sponsored website. It asked
participants to prioritize the categories of issues. To answer, one
would have to say, for example, that they found fiscal or
economic issues to be more important than social issues.

Stupid.  A stupid question.  I don’t know of anyone who is not
preoccupied with the economy. I suspect the point of asking this
in a time of economic crisis is to elicit answers that minimize
social issues. This tired, old strategy has led the Republican
Party to many recent failures and defeats.

The road to victory lies in solidifying conservatism-not in
subdividing it.

Amazing Surfeit of Career Changes
among the High Profile
By S.J. Murphy, Editor

As April opens, we hear of many taking a cue from
spring for new job paths.

Iowa Senator Tom Harkin has announced the real
reason for not running again. He will be touring as a
folk singer featuring a traditional Mongolian music.

Activist Sarah Palin will be permanently leaving
politics for acting. Her first role? She will be playing
Tina Fey in the new biopic on the life of Fey.

proclaimed April “National
Financial Capability Month,”
which activities as teaching
young people “how to
budget responsibly."

“I call upon all Americans to
observe this month with
programs and activities to
improve their understanding
of financial principles and
practices,” Obama said in an
official proclamation
released Friday. Usually we
would editorially highlight
hypocrisy, but this one is so
self-evident. We will add a
note:, in the Obama
Presidency the national debt
has been increased by
$53,377 per household.

Earlier this week...
Our people at the Monitoring
Center tell us the meter is
about to blow a gasket
following the President's
Easter Sunday visit to St.
John's Episcopal Church in D.
C. Father Luis Leon
delivered a highly partisan
sermon that condemned "the
religious right" openly. The
President sat in blithe
acquiesce.

Do you think that if a pastor
had stated that he
interpreted gay marriage as
being contractor to the Bible,
that someone from the White
House would not have found
a way to threaten the
Church's tax exempt status?

The Obama Administration
has taken multiple actions to
strip God from Courthouses
and schools and parks all in
the name of the "separation
of church and state". Yet
when a church brings the
state to the altar to do
Obama's bidding- well that's
just fine.

Ah, such hypocrisy!
Robert Redford, highly
critical of America, is
unveiling his new movie about
past acts of the "Weather
Underground", violently
critical of America, starring
Susan Sarandon,unrelentingly
critical of America. I am so,
so very worried  about
Redford and Sarandon. I'm
worried about Jackie Chan
and Jim Carey- all of the
"stars' that have such a
clear disdain for conservative
Americans (and according to
surveys that's most of us).
How horrible for these
showbiz folk to feel so
strongly and then have to
accept large quantities of
money from their very
targets. They must be torn-
overcome with guilt- tortured
by conflict. We MUST help
them. We must relieve them
of the burden of American
profit. It's only right. -sjm

Time to Revisit the IRS/Facebook Issue-
If We'd Known Then What We Know Now
By SJ Murphy, Editor
Where nothing is real, but everything is really funny.
Off the Wires of the
Phaque-phicktishus News Service...
“Total ignorance is an epidemic at the White House”, says
Congressman Ralph Goodley as he addressed the press

Goodley read from a prepared statement explaining the
recent formulation of what he described as “an emergency
House Select Committee to investigate who is actually
running the country.”

“We’ve all seen government officials occasionally shield
themselves with deniability, but what has been happening
in the Obama Administration is beyond anything ever
conceived. For an extended period of time there is no
record of any cabinet official, upper level staff, tor even the
President acknowledging any decision-making or even
knowledge of any major action or issue.”
High School Government Class in Charge...
Who IS Running the Government?
Answer "Stunning. Distressing."
Do you recall a few weeks ago when many news
reports informed taxpayers that the IRS media sites
for clues to tax evasion? IRS sources said the action
would only be taken if there already was a "red flag"
on a return. Most pundits seem to accept this with a
blithe acceptance and on we went. HOLD IT!

I o not trust the IRS at all in this regard. An example
used by defenders of this was a picture of a person
having fun posted on Facebook when the trip involved
was a business trip. So what? The government has led
the way and set the standards for fun-filled business
trips at taxpayer expense.

No- information concerning tax returns is seldom
shared on Facebook- but I will tell you what is-
political opinions. If one is Republican, Conservative or
critical of Obama that information is almost always
shared in social media.

Based on their behavior in the tax exemption scandal,
to assume that IRS officials would not use  social media
to  find and punish Obama enemies is not simply
naive'- it is downright stupid!

The latest invasion of privacy scandals seem to have
pundits of all stripe confused. There is quite a
contradiction. On one hand we have the Obama who
has bowed in apology to the rest of the world for the
overly aggressive cowboy Bush and on the other the
tough guy persona that Obama shows us whenever his
ratings need a boost. It was tha
t tough guy who single-
handedly wrestled Bin Laden to the ground. It’s this
tough guy who will dispatch a drone to get anyone who
even looks a little guilty. It was the tough guy who has
told us that he has vanquished terrorism. So why, why
on earth do we need massive surveillance programs?

The answer is really quite simple. It is about
semantics. Think back. Any time any Obama agency
has had the opportunity to define terrorism, have they
focused on foreign agents? No, never.
In defining
terrorism, they consistently have put the
spotlight on Tea Parties, Pro-Lifers,
Second Amendment backers, Churches,
Constitutionalists and the like.
Obama has
told us that he has vanquished GLOBAL
TERRORISM.  Too many are overlooking the fact that
this Administration has always defined terrorism as
primarily DOMESTIC TERRORISM. So, manly
Obama’s war on terror does continue-but
not primarily against Al Qaeda but
against a large segment of the American
people who coincidentally oppose his
Agenda.

For the moment, all seem to be mesmerized by the
rapidity of the pace at which new scandals are
revealed. Pundits bicker about scandal-ranking on the
stink scale. Most seem to agree that all these scandals
share one characteristic. They are all indicative of a
government that cannot be trusted. Yet beyond that,
we discuss each scandal as a separate and isolated
anomaly. Malice here, incompetence there, overreach
here, a little greed and laziness in between, we all
attempt to differentiate individual “scandals”, so
obsessed are we with the trees that we do not at all see
the forest.

I contend that we are not looking at multiple scandals
at all.
There is only one scandal. When a
patient has metastasized cancer, it is still
called cancer.
The doctors don’t individually
rename each outlying tumor. Thusly, we have one
enormous, pervasive scandal. No- “scandal” as a word-
is far too benign.  What we have is an atrocity- being
committed on a daily basis. As usual, Rush is closest to
being right when he alludes to a coup. But this is unlike
any other coup in its insidiousness.

What we are witnessing is the
socio-political “terraforming” of
a nation.
It is the dramatic, albeit gradual,
transformation of this country right under the feet of
its people. If you are familiar with terraforming, you
know that it is a fundamental transformation of an
entire ecosystem. So stealthy is the Obama
terraforming that many are unaware.
Recent
“scandals” are actually glimpses of the
single Master Blueprint for this
terraforming
operation. Each element relates to
other elements- Benghazi, AP, and Prism- whatever.
Yes, these are all examples of corruption,
incompetence, and ruthless tyranny, but they are not
isolated examples. They are part of one single,
cohesive, ongoing event.

It amuses me that melancholy broadcasters whisper in
fear that these “scandals” will harm Obama’s
Agenda. Oh, please. These events ARE his
Agenda!

On the campaign trail, Obama brazenly
promised a “Fundamental
Transformation”. Well, America, this is it.

These many “scandals” are but features of your new
landscape, erupting here and there as the old America
is peeled away. We must recognize the true nature of
what is occurring before we find ourselves in a strange
new land where we are little more than prisoners.

More to come…
