One of our family is in critical condition, and may die sometime in the next year.
His name is “Sam”, and he needs all of our prayers. Although he had been in
steadily weakening health for almost a year, his current severely endangered
condition is the result of a deliberate assault by 220 people. I know that sounds a
bit extreme, but it is the truth.
What is really horrifying is that, if he does die, it will be due to the deliberate
assault of 60 more people, and there isn’t a law on the books that will bring them
to justice.
You may ask, how is it that all of these people will beat up on one defenseless old
man? Maybe it would help if told you that Sam is my uncle and he is old, as a
matter of fact, he might hang on to be 234 years old this next July. He was born on
July 4th, 1776. With the House of Representative’s passage of the
Obama/Pelosi/ReidCare legislation on the 7th of November, those first hurtful
blows were landed. Each and every punch thrown not to improve freedom but to
circumscribe liberty, to bring a Socialist take-over of the United States that much
closer.
There is some room for hope, though. It seems that the rules of the hospital will
not permit that next gang in to beat Uncle Sam to death until at least 60 of them
agree to do so. By the grace of God and your prayers the Senate may turn out not
to have enough Quislings, Traitors, Turncoats and Scum among those “honorable”
men and women to give them the sixty they need to destroy our great country.
Keep up the pressure on your United States Senators. Remind them, daily, if
necessary, that they serve at YOUR pleasure, and that they took an oath to protect
the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic. And right now, he or she
need look no further than the Senate chamber to find those enemies- and many of
them need look no further than the mirror in their bathroom.
Can anyone still doubt the real intent of the Statists in control of our Federal
executive and legislative branches after reading what the House bill holds in store
for us? By the end of 2013 it will be illegal for anyone to buy or for any company to
sell a new PRIVATE health insurance policy. Further, if your employer has more
than 20 full time employees, he or she MUST provide a plan approved by some
federal official, at a co-pay and premium ti be determined much, much later, but
guaranteed to be at least double what might be charged today.
Therefore, given the vast numbers of people who must be given care, and the lack
of additional staff, facilities, equipment and material to handle it, massive rationing
WILL occur. Knowing this, has Speaker Pelosi, Senator Reid or President Obama
slowed this push even one second in order to get our health care community
better prepared? Their actions speak for themselves- they couldn't’t care less.
So, now we know that this isn’t about providing better, cheaper, universal
coverage. It’s all about POWER. Power to tell us how to live, what to eat, even,
one day, perhaps, how long we shall be allowed to live. You think me
melodramatic? Comrade President Obama, Comrade Speaker Pelosi and Comrade
Senator Reid plan to strip five hundred BILLION dollars from Medicare to help pay
for this 1.2 Trillion dollar fiasco. That amount of money lost can only result in fewer
doctors accepting patients, longer wait times to be seen, cheaper, less effective
medicines prescribed, and, in the end, many, many more of our elderly dying when
they might have lived much longer, happier lives.

I received a similar question during the campaign. The hatred for Mrs. Palin seems
to have grown exponentially since then.
I must agree with you that the reaction of the "left" to this woman is extreme. The
intensity of it leads me to believe that the left is responding not on a logical level
but on a visceral one. The liberals speaking out each may be prompted by his or
her individual trigger. One who feels that they are only deserving of respect
because of their education are VERY resentful of someone without and academic
pedigree who is receiving acceptance and recognition anyway.
Women and men who have aborted their progeny because it was imperfect will
naturally hate a woman who knowingly gave birth to children who were imperfect
and inconvenient.
People like Chris Matthews will hate Sarah Palin because they perceive her to be
a threat to their beloved leader.
The question of Martha Stewart and similar women remind me of an experience I
had as a young intern in a small psychiatric facility near Vienna. A fun loving
therapist named Lisle joined the staff. She always appeared to be having a good
time and attracted people around her. Other females on staff who, like Martha
Stewart and Joy Bayhart had reputations for having bad tempers, a controlling
attitude for being difficult to be around, began to attack Lisle with great venom.
She did not seem to be affected which made the other women more angry and
more unpleasant. This in turn drove more people to Lisle and the unhappy women
became more and more alone and more unhappy. In response they attacked Lisle
with more and more hatred, which drove more people away from them and to
Lisle... Well, you can see what I am getting at. It is possible that many hate this
Sarah because she seems happy with herself and to be enjoying life. If that is the
case you can expect to see the same sort of degenerating cycle that I witnessed at
University. Lisle remained unperturbed and unchanged. Her attackers eventually
required psychiatric hospitalization.

veiled threats. Hasan's relationships with Islamic Radicals and Jihadists further supports
his terrorist classification. As does the nature of the act. itself. Hasan did not seek out
individuals who had failed to give him the responses he wanted. It was not like a
disgruntled worker seeking out those he blamed. To the Contrary, Hasan chose a day
when he knew many civilians would be present and he chose his attack scene as one, not
containing those who had wronged him but filled with troops headed for the war he
opposed. Hence, a non-personal, ideologically driven act of terrorism. It should also be
noted that an act of terrorism is indicated by the action, itself. A terrorist can be sane or
insane and still be a terrorist.

I guess I've always kind of liked Sarah Palin. I mean she seems
intense hatred I hear expressed by liberals. Even that Martha
intense hatred I hear expressed by liberals. Even that Martha
woman with her sheet sets and cooking show says she's the most
dangerous person. You don't have to like her but sheesh! This is
all a little extreme or am I the crazy one?

Another thousand years would pass before the Magna Carta, and then another seven
hundred years before the Declaration of Independence came to be. All of this in no small
part due to the simple fact the written word was durable and consistent. Hindering progress
along political lines was the common man was kept illiterate. You think all of those stained
glass windows were just pretty? No, they are visual reminders of bible stories that illiterate
people can learn from.
The second factor is economics. Once Homo Sapien moved from hunter-gather to producer,
economics was born. Why? Because the rate of exchange has to stay somewhat equal or
the producer who is short changed will either stop producing or exchange his product with
someone else. Once village markets were established and a second grower of figs offered
his basket of figs, the first fig grower lost his advantage and had to lower his exchange rate
or convince his customer his figs were worth the extra cost.
It’s simple, isn’t it? The fig growers, since fig trees are free, only have to keep their prices at
a point they can keep their families alive, and maybe a donkey to carry the figs to market.
They don’t want to grow too many figs, because there is only so much demand and if there
are figs left over at the end of the day it means you fed the donkey to carry figs that weren’t
sold. Another thing is that if you have more fig trees you have to pay more tribute because
tribute is assessed based on number of trees, not amount sold.
I want to move one step up the economic ladder, but still in the simple economy of yore. Next
to the fig seller is a baker. The baker grows enough wheat to mill to provide for twenty
loaves of bread every day of the year. Some go to his large family. The wife and children
tend the field and mill the wheat. In return the baker keeps them fed and clothed and
housed. The baker sets his exchange rate such that at the end of every year he has a little
something left over.
Oh! That’s PROFIT!
Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you.
In the next village a similar baker raises a son who at some point is tired of his father and the
no-night-life village he lives in. He takes to the road, having heard from itinerant bakery
supply salesmen that the next village over is growing, has only one baker who sells
everything he can bake and there are easy women there, too.
Our enterprising young man sets out, does his sums and figures he can make bread for the
same price, even though he will have to pay for wheat. So, he buys some wheat, finds a
used oven to rent and a few days later he sets up his stand and offers his bread at the
same price. Some townspeople buy his bread when the other baker runs out, which is every
day.
The young man realizes this is a slam dunk. He can sell all the bread he can bake.
A few weeks go by and yes, the young man is selling his bread, but at the price of staying up
late each evening grinding flour and preparing the dough. Early the next morning he has to
fire the oven and get the bread made before the market opens. Then he has to tote the
bread to the market and stay there all day until the last loaf is sold.
The young man looks at his purse and he has a few coins left after paying his rent and
wheat bill, but he hasn’t the energy to spend it on any of the loose women who constantly
stream past his table in the market.
A younger lad hangs around a few days and convinces the young baker that what he needs
is an assistant to do some of the work, which will allow the baker some time off and plus, the
young lad has a sister with a reputation.
The young baker takes on the assistant and soon is baking more bread and has, after
paying the assistant, not quite as many coins in his purse, but enough to pursue the sister.
The first baker, seeing the jump in sales at the other stand, plants more wheat. He bakes
more loaves every day in anticipation of the larger harvest and drops his price, just a little.
The second baker looses half his business and realizes he is being undercut by the old
man. His profits stop and he can no longer afford to entertain any women.
The young baker returns to his father and whines. The father tells him not to worry, he has a
solution. The father goes to the regional commissioner and offers the commissioner a small
tribute if the commissioner will institute a tax on all bakeries selling more than twenty loaves
a day, except those in his town, or operated by bakers born in his town if they spend at least
half their profits benefiting women who would otherwise be asking for alms.
The commissioner agrees, after all, he can just steal, er, that is, accept the gifts of bread
from the populous so its not like the resulting increased prices in another town will hurt him
any.
So the old baker is faced with the new tax and has to raise his prices to that of his
competitor. The old baker’s youngest daughter (who is not a loose woman) says to father
one day, “Papa, I have an idea. The tax is on loaves. I tried un loaves and my friends like
them. They fill you up the same way a loaf does, but have 20% less wheat and still provide
all of the essential vitamins and nutrients a healthy person needs. (I made up the last part)
The next day the old baker offers 19 loaves and fifteen un-loaves. He sells out everything
and the young baker’s sales drop 20%. Unable to compete with free labor, free raw
materials and product innovation, the young baker has to choose between going elsewhere
or finding a new line of merchandise.
Meanwhile, all of the townspeople in the region are paying more for their bread.
Political Correctness May

As an occasional satirist, I've gotten many a chuckle out of the absurdity innate in
"political correctness'. But suddenly, I'm not laughing. It is obvious that our security is
being destroyed by the practice
Part and parcel of political correctness (PC) is an exaggerated concern about the
opinions of other nations. By all accounts, whatever was wrong with the operation at
GITMO has long since been corrected, leaving a very well-run and effective facility.
So why close it? Statements from multiple Administration sources state that it must be
closed to improve America's perceived image among other nations. We endanger
American citizens and incur a huge and needless expense just be liked? In
ObamaLand, we do.
The Administration, itself and via assorted surrogates, has performed nothing short
of media relations contortions to handle the Massacre at Fort Hood with a clear
emphasis on political correctness so as to not offend Muslim nations. There has
been no expression of concern from the Administration as to how this act could have
been avoided had political correctness not ruled the day.
Obama, hiding behind the skirts of his AG, has brought confessed terrorists to
American soil where their release is a real possibility and where a trial will allow a
daily condemnation of our country.
A group of Navy SEALS recently captured a top-ranked terrorist who was the
ringleader of the 2004 abduction, torture, execution, mutilation and public display of
Blackwater employees in Iraq. The terrorist claims he was given a fat lip by the
SEALS. Three of them now face Court Martial actions citing them for assault. Again,
acting to protect our troops takes a back seat to our PR image.
The President delays his "decision" on Afghanistan while troops suffer and die. He
struggles to find a way to keep his peace-at-any-price crowd while not looking like a
total wimp, while maintaining the blinding popularity he believes he has with the
global community.
Considered separately these incidents are infuriating. Taken as a whole, they paint a
clear and plain picture of national security moved down- way down on the
Administration's priority list with his PC/PR image holding all the top spots.
I am terrified. I am only unsure of what Obama's motivation could be. It could be
stupidity. It could be a willing to sacrifice stability in this nation to obtain a position of
power in a global structure or it could b that this man's personal conceit is so
profound that he believes his personal charisma will serve as a shield for the entire
nation. I guess it really doesn't matter. What matters is that if this Administration
continues to allow political correctness to drive all decisions impacting the military
and intelligence entities, the United States of America will end up like a toothless,
declared kitten thrown into a cage of lions.

acting to protect our troops takes a back seat to our PR image.
The President delays his "decision" on Afghanistan while troops suffer and die. He
struggles to find a way to keep his peace-at-any-price crowd while not looking like a
total wimp, while maintaining the blinding popularity he believes he has with the
global community.
Considered separately these incidents are infuriating. Taken as a whole, they paint a
clear and plain picture of national security moved down- way down on the
Administration's priority list with his PC/PR image holding all the top spots.
I am terrified. I am only unsure of what Obama's motivation could be. It could be
stupidity. It could be a willing to sacrifice stability in this nation to obtain a position of
power in a global structure or it could b that this man's personal conceit is so
profound that he believes his personal charisma will serve as a shield for the entire
nation. I guess it really doesn't matter. What matters is that if this Administration
continues to allow political correctness to drive all decisions impacting the military

Amidst all the angst-filled wailing about the battle between “conservatives” and
“moderates” within the Republican Party, something has been overlooked. There is no
shortage of pundits who offer cautioning that the GOP will die if it does not devalue
conservatives and lead with a “big-tent-welcome-mat-to-moderates”. Moderate talking
heads to present to the public a picture of the true GOP- a moderate GOP, resentful and
frustrated by the strident content and tone of major conservative commentators. This is a
false picture that many would wish into reality.
I don’t think these “moderate” Republicans are bad people. To the contrary, I think they
are very nice people and quite well-intentioned. However, they are heartbreakingly naive
and obliviously caught in a political paradigm that is far in the past. They really do think it
is the right thing to appeal to moderates now. Unfortunately, they are appealing to a
vanishing species. Their outreach is to ghosts.
These people still think we have a political system based on two differing but equally
balanced political parties, both recognizing certain rules of fair play. They still see America’
s political spectrum as being widely varied and in ever-shifting flux. On such a playing field
a person could claim a middle-of the road stance, partially agreeing with one party and
then another, gathering a mixed bag of ideology that we tag as moderate. That day is
over. That spectrum is fading. Disappearing are the conditions that allowed the existence
of the creature called the moderate. Moderates are being forced from existence- but not
by Conservatism or talk radio as the liberal media would posit. In reality it is the relentless
political machine and uncompromisingly extreme agenda of Barack Obama that is marking
the extinction of the moderate.
So many moderates pipe right up with the familiar chorus “I’m a fiscal conservative but a
social liberal.” The days when that statement made any sense at all are waning- thanks to
Obama policies. You simply cannot claim to be social liberal but fiscal conservative today
when speaking of the US government. Obama has glued every single social agenda to a
fiscally risky spending plan. They are inextricably bound now. In Obamland, if you back
any liberal social agenda you must and will support the wild spending that fuels it. Soon,
moderate Republicans will realize this. And consider any issue in the context of Machine
Obama, such as abortion. There was a time when a moderate could say something like, “I
personally oppose it but support others’ rights to their own opinion.” Such equivocations
are becoming irrelevant in the Obama era. It is increasingly clear that Machine Obama is
not championing abortion as anybody’s “choice”. To them it is a common and accepted
devise to be utilized aggressively to control population and to lessen the economic drain
on welfare and entitlement programs. Very shortly abortion will be intrinsically interwoven
with Obama’s “green”, population-control, human productivity-based economic agenda
and social movement toward sexual anarchy. It will be extremely difficult for a so-called
moderate to pick abortion out for support without supporting the new social context into
which it is woven. Furthermore, Machine Obama does not even recognize partial or half-
hearted support. To question even one page of a thousand page bill is perceived by this
White House as opposition because it evidences a lack of complete subservience.
Beguiled moderates will soon learn that anything short of total support of anything Obama
is equivalent to total opposition. Olympia Snowe may be a useful pawn for the moment,
but this White House has no long term use for moderates. They have room only for those
who give full, complete and unquestioning support. Occasional backers will be discarded
as readily as sworn enemies. The length and totality of support for Obama one may have
given in the past is meaningless. Stray, if even only briefly and only by a few inches, and
you will lose your favored status. Machine Obama does not forgive.
No, this White House does not suffer opposition or dissidence. The McCainists currently
think they can have “a big tent and reach across the aisle” because they still believe
diplomacy is possible. They are mistaken. They will eventually see their folly but we
cannot wait for their epiphany- nor can we further waste our energy on this irrelevant
discourse.
Examine history and the unique times when events are driven by a movement of great
intensity, propelled by powerful motivations. Eventually, people either resist such a force
or join it. There is no role for the moderate. When the National Socialist Party in Weimar
Germany first came to power, many were moderate about their policies. As those policies
became more extreme, moderation vanished. Extreme circumstances forced everyone
into taking a stance of either support or opposition. Another good example of this is the
American Revolution. Early in the independence process there were those who supported
independence, those who opposed it and those who were moderate. Consider the role
played by Mel Gibson in the Patriot. Like those Republicans of today he was a nice,
peace-loving, nonconfrontational man. But the powerful motivator of the cry for
independence created the extreme circumstances that forced him to shed the cloak of the
moderate.

Obama’s unrelenting drive to transform America into a country where all wealth is equally
distributed and rights exist and vanish at the whim of a dictatorial government is the
powerful motivator of events today. But moderate McCainists seem, as of yet, to be
unaware of this. I wish with all my heart that these political pollyannas were correct, but
they are not. It is the total lack of moderation in the actions of Machine Obama that has
convinced me that my assessment is correct. Machine Obama has placed people in
significant positions in the Federal government without even a cursory nod to
conventional social mores and opposing viewpoints. They have shut down opposition in
the Congress and disregarded the voices of millions of Americans. These are not the
actions of a machine that is a benevolent loom, creating a new, all-inclusive American
tapestry. This machine is a steamroller. I fear that McCain, Graham and company will still
have their hands eagerly extended across the aisle when they are flattened.
It is an ideological coincidence that conservatism embodies diametrical opposition to the
will of Machine Obama, but there you have it. The Republican Party should be formulating
serious battle plans. Instead they are being lured into this silly big tent square dance that’
s actually being called by the White House. As I write, the Obama steamroller is devouring
the “middle of the road”. Moderates will be forced to leap for their lives- to one side of the
road or the other.
“moderates” within the Republican Party, something has been overlooked. There is no
shortage of pundits who offer cautioning that the GOP will die if it does not devalue
conservatives and lead with a “big-tent-welcome-mat-to-moderates”. Moderate talking
heads to present to the public a picture of the true GOP- a moderate GOP, resentful and
frustrated by the strident content and tone of major conservative commentators. This is a
false picture that many would wish into reality.
I don’t think these “moderate” Republicans are bad people. To the contrary, I think they
are very nice people and quite well-intentioned. However, they are heartbreakingly naive
and obliviously caught in a political paradigm that is far in the past. They really do think it
is the right thing to appeal to moderates now. Unfortunately, they are appealing to a
vanishing species. Their outreach is to ghosts.
These people still think we have a political system based on two differing but equally
balanced political parties, both recognizing certain rules of fair play. They still see America’
s political spectrum as being widely varied and in ever-shifting flux. On such a playing field
a person could claim a middle-of the road stance, partially agreeing with one party and
then another, gathering a mixed bag of ideology that we tag as moderate. That day is
over. That spectrum is fading. Disappearing are the conditions that allowed the existence
of the creature called the moderate. Moderates are being forced from existence- but not
by Conservatism or talk radio as the liberal media would posit. In reality it is the relentless
political machine and uncompromisingly extreme agenda of Barack Obama that is marking
the extinction of the moderate.
So many moderates pipe right up with the familiar chorus “I’m a fiscal conservative but a
social liberal.” The days when that statement made any sense at all are waning- thanks to
Obama policies. You simply cannot claim to be social liberal but fiscal conservative today
when speaking of the US government. Obama has glued every single social agenda to a
fiscally risky spending plan. They are inextricably bound now. In Obamland, if you back
any liberal social agenda you must and will support the wild spending that fuels it. Soon,
moderate Republicans will realize this. And consider any issue in the context of Machine
Obama, such as abortion. There was a time when a moderate could say something like, “I
personally oppose it but support others’ rights to their own opinion.” Such equivocations
are becoming irrelevant in the Obama era. It is increasingly clear that Machine Obama is
not championing abortion as anybody’s “choice”. To them it is a common and accepted
devise to be utilized aggressively to control population and to lessen the economic drain
on welfare and entitlement programs. Very shortly abortion will be intrinsically interwoven
with Obama’s “green”, population-control, human productivity-based economic agenda
and social movement toward sexual anarchy. It will be extremely difficult for a so-called
moderate to pick abortion out for support without supporting the new social context into
which it is woven. Furthermore, Machine Obama does not even recognize partial or half-
hearted support. To question even one page of a thousand page bill is perceived by this
White House as opposition because it evidences a lack of complete subservience.
Beguiled moderates will soon learn that anything short of total support of anything Obama
is equivalent to total opposition. Olympia Snowe may be a useful pawn for the moment,
but this White House has no long term use for moderates. They have room only for those
who give full, complete and unquestioning support. Occasional backers will be discarded
as readily as sworn enemies. The length and totality of support for Obama one may have
given in the past is meaningless. Stray, if even only briefly and only by a few inches, and
you will lose your favored status. Machine Obama does not forgive.
No, this White House does not suffer opposition or dissidence. The McCainists currently
think they can have “a big tent and reach across the aisle” because they still believe
diplomacy is possible. They are mistaken. They will eventually see their folly but we
cannot wait for their epiphany- nor can we further waste our energy on this irrelevant
discourse.
Examine history and the unique times when events are driven by a movement of great
intensity, propelled by powerful motivations. Eventually, people either resist such a force
or join it. There is no role for the moderate. When the National Socialist Party in Weimar
Germany first came to power, many were moderate about their policies. As those policies
became more extreme, moderation vanished. Extreme circumstances forced everyone
into taking a stance of either support or opposition. Another good example of this is the
American Revolution. Early in the independence process there were those who supported
independence, those who opposed it and those who were moderate. Consider the role
played by Mel Gibson in the Patriot. Like those Republicans of today he was a nice,
peace-loving, nonconfrontational man. But the powerful motivator of the cry for
independence created the extreme circumstances that forced him to shed the cloak of the
moderate.

the muzzle on conservative talk radio. Why? Again, it’s that darn habit of
telling the truth again! They can’t have that. After all, the truth IS the
greatest enemy of the state.

My wife and I periodically take some time to peruse recent Children’s books,
some, to complete or add to sets we had from our own children wee young,
and others for shear enjoyment. She showed me one put out by Scholastic
that she thought was cute and funny, called Jack’s House, by Karen
Magnuson Beil. First off, I have no idea whether Jack’s House. Was
intended to convey any message or meaning, except to be funny. With me it
failed miserably. The first page shows Jack driving a beautiful early sixty’s
Corvette. Riding alongside him is a cute dog. We next see the dog, now
togged out as construction laborer, with the appropriate hard-hat and tool-
belt, single-handedly building “Jack’s” house. Finishing the construction,
the Dog, Max, planted two large trees and between them installed a
hammock, where we next see Jack relaxing.
The next scene shows a truck carting off the trees, hammock AND Jack. The
last page shows the finished house and tells us, this is “Max’s House”. I
was appalled. All the way through the book I was thinking that Jack, who
owns such a valuable car, is obviously the one paying for all the materials
that went into making this house. What right did the laborer have to have
Jack forcibly removed? Did Max somehow come to own the house and
grounds due to some form of “sweat equity”? My wife told me that part of
the humor (since I didn’t get it) was Jack’s reaction of shock and surprise at
being rudely carted off.
Is this what are kids are being shown in our public schools? Are our
children being taught to think that it is funny to watch a man who had (it
seems) paid for all the materials that went into building his house and
renting all of the heavy equipment needed to manipulate those materials
dispossessed because the laborer felt aggrieved and wanted him gone?
I am reminded of John Adams’ quote: "The moment the idea is admitted into
society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is
not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny
commence. If `Thou shalt not covet’ and `Thou shalt not steal’ were not
commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every
society before it can be civilized or made free."

The downhill slide has already begun. Our very own United States Supreme
Court has already ruled that in certain cases it is proper for a local
government to take private property from one owner and give it to another
simply because more taxes may result from the alternate use.

There aren’t many books published today that make me want to stand up and
cheer. Mark R. Levin’s book “Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative
Manifesto” is that rare book. Mr. Levin, clearing away all the haze that has
somehow crept into the public discussion of conservatism vs. statism, has
painstakingly and beautifully defined the terms, illustrated the goals and
agenda and explained the competing rationales in a very readable way. If
you are left with any doubts as to which camp you should be in, “Liberty and
Tyranny” will settle them for you- that is- unless you are one of those poor
folks who really shouldn't’t be put in a two-hole privy by themselves.
I checked it out from the local library and am saving up to buy a copy. I
encourage all conservatives to buy AT LEAST one copy, when you can. Give
it as a gift, loan it to a colleague or friend (I know, good book lovers just don’
t do that- but this one time it is crucial!)

lives from the kingdom tax collector. As the Duke pointed to their hiding place, the
tax collector turned and H-# doffed his G-# hat in thanks. The Duke
realized that the hat was lined in A-# and D-# silk.
"Yes!", he exclaimed. "Those shall be the colors of the new Crest."
Later, Duke Joseph called all of the kingdom crier corps to a ceremony in the town
square where he read a proclamation that he copied from a book in the royal library.
H then unveiled a remarkable drawing of the new crest.
The King was displeased to hear of the Duke's latest activities. He reprimanded the
Duke for acting without his knowledge, again. He ordered J-#1 to escort the
