"Ballot initiatives on social issues either fell decidedly on the conservative
side of the ledger, or very nearly so. Enough votes were cast in support of
conservative stands on social issues, that it can factually and statistically
stated that America, as a nation does have a distinctly conservative
attitude on many major issues. Why would the Republican Party turn its
back on that?"

Dear Uncle Sigmund...I've noticed
that since the election, the
victorious liberal/Democrats are not
behaving like I thought they would. I
saw a bunch on Election Night. I
thought they'd be so happy they'd
leave me alone but they didn't .
They gloated. They ridiculed me.
They were very angry at me. I've
noticed That most
Republican/Conservatives have
tried to be cordial in their defeat but
many entertainers and many of their
leaders aren't really celebrating.
They are as nasty, snide and
strident as ever. What's up with
that, Uncle S?
Amazed in Miami
Dear Amazed,
I had a similar experience while in
University in Vienna. A group of very
unhappy students believed they
should not have to pay for books. They
caused endless trouble until given free
books. They were still very unhappy
and a few days later they burned their
books to protest something else.
Amazed, some people are never happy.
Today's liberal movement seems to
attract these people. They are
pessimists and they have ;little
confidence in human nature in
general. They gravitate toward
government policies that provide all
needs for people, believing people
cannot take care of themselves.
They cannot tolerate disagreement.
They have so little confidence in
themselves that they perceive even a
civil disagreement as a personal
attack. They seek a leader to replace
the hope they cannot find in their own
hearts.
They will gloat in their victory but
there will be no real joy or peace for
them. They will continue to attack.
In 4 years from now they will still be as
angry and nasty as they appeared to be
just prior to this last election.
Pessimists will never be happy.
Uncle Sigmund

Notes from the Conservative's Lexicon
|

If you've read our entry on the "About Us" page, you know that one
impetus in our creation is our resistance to the trend in recent
decades for Conservatives and Republicans to stand by tacitly
while the opposition dictates and defines the terms of political
discourse. No more. We're defining the terms now. Toward that
end we'll examine a few words and phrases in each issue.
The Fairness Doctrine: An FCC policy, discontinued in
1987, that required that holders of broadcast licenses
present controversial issues of public importance and do
so in a manner that was honest, fair and equitable. This
policy was problematic from its inception. How can so
many nebulous factors be regulated? Equal time
requirements do have their place. A news outlet should
be required to make every effort at presenting both sides
of events and issues when disseminated as news and an
evenly balanced treatment of opposing candidates in
elections. That, actually, is only holding those who claim
to be journalists to The Canons of Journalism. Enforcing
such an arbitrary dictum on commercial enterprises is
totally unAmerican. Radio and television stations in their
non-news hours are selling entertainment. Whether it is a
mindless sitcom or an edifying historical special, it is
entertainment. It is a product. On the radio music is a
product; talk outside of a newscast is a product. Unless it
violates a criminal law, broadcasters have the right to sell
it. People have the right to buy it. And make no mistake,
when you watch or listen, you subject yourself to
advertising and the entertainment content then becomes
a product. The liberal/Democrat controlled government
has no more right to force us to buy equal portions of
liberal-influenced entertainment than to force us all to
drink more Coke to balance consumption of Pepsi. For
the governmental to so directly and forcibly control what
we choose to hear and see is nothing short of a
totalitarian tyranny that would draw praise from Lenin and
Marx. Our first step to fight this is to reject their
terminology! Insist this policy be called what it is: The
Doctrine to End a Consumer's Rights in Media Choice.
However, because that is too lengthy, we'll subscribe to
the new terminology of THE CENSORSHIP DOCTRINE,
as endorsed by Sean Hannity, although "censorship" is
mild in describing such oppression.
VOTER SUPPRESSION: The Liberal/Dems have made
great efforts to redefine the term "voter suppression" as
any questioning of, or opposition to voter fraud and illegal
registrations. This is outrageous and we must fight these
efforts to redefine this phrase for they will only intensify.
ACORN and the like must be very emboldened by the
success they had in manipulating election outcomes.
They will be doing more and more in the way of
registering unqualified and fictional people, lobbying for a
relaxation of any law or regulation restricting voting, and
entrenching people that share their view in positions of
election authority nationwide. Fighting that is NOT
suppression. It is protecting the sanctity of each legal
vote and the system, itself.
Labor Union leaders that use intimidation to try to prevent
members from voting for Republican candidates- now
THAT is an example of what voter suppression really is.
The Networks announcing on Election Night that the
election is over- that there is no hope for a Republican
victory even though there are many western states and
millions of voters yet to vote- now, THAT IS VOTER
SUPPRESSION on a big scale!
BIPARTISAN: The standard definition of this is relating to
or supported by two bodies, usually two political parties.
Although Democrats may contend that they observe that
denotation, their actions reveal their real operating
definition. When they say "Bipartisan", they mean: "You
Republicans may participate in what we are doing, but
you may not question, oppose or even suggest." If a
Republican should ever have the unmitigated gall to
question, oppose or even suggest a change to any
administration cause, bill or initiative, then the
Republicans will be deprived of the warm and fuzzy
handle of "Bipartisan" and will then be labeled as using
selfish and obstructive "partisanship". When you hear a
Dem or a RINO using the term "Bipartisan", be afraid. Be
very afraid.
Cool: Definition: A Conservative.

THANK YOU, SARAH PALIN!
Amid all the garbage disguised as "news"
about Sarah Palin that is being hurled about
right now, one statement seems to have been
lost in the shuffle. What we should have been
hearing post-campaign was one loud, clear
proclamation: "Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank
you for answering the call to serve your nation.
Thank you and thanks to your family for
abandoning your personal lives and privacy to
accept life on the campaign trail. Thank you for
inspiring a nation with your forthrightness and
your unwavering dedication to your own
principles and core beliefs. Thank you, Sarah.
You Go Girl!"
GEORGIA SHOULD BE ON ALL
OUR MINDS
We have a message to every
Conservative/Republican voter in Georgia:
Elections are not always simply a contest
between two candidates. Sometimes an
election is about much, much more. Such is
the case now in Georgia. You are no longer
being asked to go and vote for or against your
incumbent Senator. You represent all of us
now and you are being asked to vote yes or
no. Yes, we want the Liberal/Democrat/Obama
Administration Axis to have TOTAL control of
American life. Yes, it is all right with us if the
Left can add control of the US Senate to their
power base by giving them a vote count
perilously close to a filibuster-proof senate. Or,
you, the voters of Georgia can speak for all of
us and say NO! No to the tyranny of the Left
Axis. You can vote for the hope of a dissident
voice in our government by voting for Saxby
Chambliss. He is a Republican. He does hold
all of the basic precepts fro which the Party
stands. No, he hasn't always been perfect and
there are votes with which the base has
disagreed. But this election is not about that. It
is about placing a voice and a vote in the
Senate that will stand against a steamroller of
liberal, socialistic doctrine.
We're in the mess we're in today largely
because, Conservatives and Republicans
failed to support the McCain-Palin ticket.
Maybe, you are all feeling proud of yourselves
because you remained pure- you did not
compromise your personal convictions,
whatever they may have been. It may take a
year or two for you to realize that you missed
the bigger issue. You had the opportunity to
mark your ballot in such a way as to steer your
country away from totalitarian socialism and
you blew it. We do not suggest you forsake
your values, but multiple factors are
considered in voting. It was your choice to
place your own foibles- as noble as they may
have been- above the overall welfare of your
country. Georgia, God has given you a second
chance. Do not make the same mistake.A vote
for Saxby Chambliss is actually a vote for the
future of our country. Nothing else really
matters.
.

Their Attack: "The Republican Must Now Forsake
Conservatism and Move to the
Center to Attract Moderates."
Your Responses:
"Barrack Obama was elected because he did a very good job of disguising
himself as a centrist, concealing his real liberal credentials. When it came
to taxes, he disguised himself as a CONSERVATIVE, promising tax cuts to
the middle class and small businesses. If imitation is the sincerest form of
flattery, Barrack Obama would appear to be giving conservatism quite an
endorsement as a vote-getter."

"Post-election studies consistently bear-out evidence that Republicans
and Conservative Republicans in particular did not show up on election
Day as needed and as hoped. This was not because John McCain was
TOO CONSERVATIVE! Clearly, John McCain, American hero that he is, is
also the quintessential RINO. He is the moderates moderate who made
very little personal effort to reach out to Conservatives. This most recent
GOP defeat embodies the danger of abandoning our conservatism. It is a
vivid indicator of what happens when the Republican Party fails to provide
a solid conservative alternative to the always-liberal opposition."

President George Bush has been astoundingly
cordial and supportive in his gracious words of
congratulations to President -Elect Obama and his
team. Yet, even now, the unholy alliance of the left
in this country continues to disparage and
deliberately mischaracterize every word, every
action of his administration. This ruthless and
merciless attack on Bush and his administration
have gone on non-stop for the past eight years.
Now, DEMANDS are coming from all left-leaning
quarters that Republicans/Conservatives must put
their own beliefs aside; they must support the new
President's agenda, with uncommon courtesy,
kindness and open-mindedness. Dear Readers,
our people at the Liberal Hypocrisy Meter
Monitoring Station claim that this double standard is
so appalling that repairs to monitoring equipment
may be needed!

Blackford Approach
By D. L. Blackford, Contributing Editor
Will Barrack Obama
Heal the Racial Divide?
One of the youngest Presidents in the history of our
nation will bring new shades to the canvas of white
leaders who came before his unprecedented
political career. Some say Barrack Obama has
proved to be a biracial icon
who can mobilize blacks and whites alike. This writer
says "hold your horses"! Before we light candles
and sing "Kumbaya" let's look at President-Elect
Obama some more. First of all, I do congratulate him
on his
victory in being our first elected black President.
However, on Tuesday November 4, 2008, Election
Day, in Philadelphia black panthers with night sticks
blocked voters from entering their polling place.
The National Black Panther Party stated, "We will be
at the polls in the cities and counties in many states
to ensure that the enemy does not sabotage the
black vote, which was won through the blood of the
martyrs of our people."
Imagine the outcry of the Obama camp if it had been
Skin Heads in Georgia or Florida trying to intimidate
voters! My point is: where was Obama on this
outrage? Where was Obama when the voters of
Philadelphia needed him? He should have placed a
call right away to the National Black Panther Party
and told them to stand down. Intimidation
at any polling places will not be tolerated! I am a
believer that Obama has a long way to go to prove
he can bring our country together as one!

A former pork producer and a
political analyst, she tolerates
NO...
The Republican/Conservative
Party as we have known it has
been “hogtied”. It is no longer
the party of our founding
fathers and the framers of
our Constitution. We need to stand up to
those individuals who would subvert the party
to further their own political gain. We need to
become the “conscience” of the conservative.
No more mister nice guy. It is time the gloves
come off and we say enough is enough…it is
our “trough” and we are here to take it back.
As one of the founders of “conservatism” as
we know it once said, “Extremism in the
defense of liberty is no vice”.
We need to take extreme measures and we
need to begin reconstructing our party from
the inside.. And while we are in the process of
rebuilding we need to keep a watchful eye on
the new administration. Justice being blind
refers to the Supreme Court Motto, “Equal
Justice Under Law”. But with Barrack Obama
Lady Justice might not only be blind but also
deaf so that when the constitution and our
court system is “hogtied” not a “squeal” is
heard in the hog yard.
No one lives forever and so it is with members
of the Supreme Court. Five of the current
justices are more than 70 years old. If one or
more of those judges should retire, Obama
with the help of a democratic congress could
change the balance of power on the Supreme
Court to one that rules based on “feelings”
rather then “law”. The Supreme Court is not
the only court that could be affected after
Obama is in power. With the a democratic
majority in congress Obama could bring the
balance of power from one to nine of the 13
federal appeals courts. Can we be vigilant and
watchful at the same time? It may not be easy
but it is something that must be done.
Otherwise we may loose both our Republican
Party and our Constitution, which is something
we may never get back.
The bailout out has produce a feeding frenzy
of sorts with various financial institutions and
other businesses lining up like hogs at the
trough. We need to eliminate what those
institutions consider free feed and close the
door on the pig pen. As I have said before we
need to “take back the trough”. Pigs wallow in
the mud and shallow water because that is the
only means they have to stay cool on hot
days.. We need to quit wallowing in the mud
and start frying our own bacon. Left to their
own devises the private sector can do it best .
Ultimately the burden for paying for the bailout
rests on the shoulders of every taxpaying
citizen. Ronald Reagan once said, “A
government can’t control the economy without
controlling people." And they know when a
government sets out to do that, it must use
force and coercion to achieve its purpose…
and as long as they (the government) have
the power to tax, they could always take away
from the people whatever they needed to bail
them out of trouble”. We are like “hogs being
led to slaughter” and we need to stand up, tell
them we don’t need any “free feed” and we will
not stand for anymore “pork barrel politics”.
We want to minimize not maximize the federal
government. It is not always the biggest boar
that gets the prime spot in the hog yard!

A Phaque-Phicktickshus News EXCLUSIVE!
Madame Orlofsky Sees
Disturbing Images of
Lunch in the Future
Santa Clara, CA- While giving a series
of personal readings at the recent
"Santa Clara New Age Festival", famed
fortuneteller Madame Orlofsky amazed
and alarmed onlookers with another in
a series of grim forebodings for the
United States.
According to Krissy Lee Meyer, a Festival participant, Orlofsky's
demeanor changed abruptly as she was predicting future golf scores for
a gentleman in the workshop audience. "She was telling this guy he was
going to have a birdie in one or something on Saturday when she looked
down at her crystal ball. She turned white as a sheet and she gasped."
According to several witnesses, Madame Orlofsky begin to relate what
she was seeing.
"It's the future- a dark future", she'd said.
She described seeing a man who was very hungry for a cheeseburger
and fries. He'd gone to all of his favorite fast food restaurants but found
that they had all been closed by government order under the new
Healthy Food Act. The man was not deterred and began a torturous
maze through what Madame Orlofsky described as "The dark underbelly
of the city" until finally reaching a partially hidden door at the base of a
secluded staircase on the rear of a building.
Said Meyer, "She was getting emotional when she said how the man was
so hungry and how he pounded on the door. Madame O said she saw a
little wooden window slide open and the man inside said "Shush" to the
hungry guy and he said "Big Mac sent me." They let him in and soon he
joined others who were eating cheeseburgers, french fries and
Chocolate Malts, all considered contraband under the new Healthy Food
Act.
Madame Orlofsky had said that the room was dark and crowded with
people grilling, frying and eating. She'd said they were having a good
time when the door was violently kicked open. It was the Obaman Civilian
Security Force. They were tossing food to the ground and arresting
people for Food Act violations.
According to witnesses, at that time in her presentation, Madame
Orlofsky had covered her eyes, unable to gaze any longer at the scene
in her crystal ball. She'd mumbled something about not being sure if she
was seeing ketchup or blood.
Said Meyer, "She really wasn't able to give any more readings. She was
shook up. She left the building. Last time I saw her she was heading
across the street to Wendy's."

Sheila Murphy, PPNS Correspondent- Calling himself only
"Boris" the career Russian diplomat sat in deliberate
shadows in the back of the Parisian café' as he
revealed in hushed tones the "Alaska deal". Saying
that he was "too old to be drug back into the cold war",
"Boris" had decided to reveal what he knows in hopes
of slowing "Putin's power grab".
"Putin and Obama have been in close contact since
American election. It is how you say- a done deal."
According to "Boris" President-Elect Obama has
agreed to sell Alaska back to the Russians to finance
his broad-reaching social agenda in the contiguous
states.
"Negotiating this will sweep Putin into power and
Obama will get the money he needs", stated "Boris".
When questioned by reporters earlier today. Obama
refused to confirm or deny the rumor. "Look", said the
President-Elect. "I was honest. People heard what they
wanted to hear, but I warned people we'd have to
sacrifice. Well, a state here or there may be what we
have to sacrifice to enable the government to finance
our programs."
Obama refused to give a timetable for a sale. He did
respond to questions as to whether he was willing to
sell Alaska as some sort of retribution to Alaska
Governor Sarah Palin.
"That's ridiculous. I'm not saying I am selling Alaska to
the Russians- but if I did do that it wouldn't be because
of Palin. You know what they say, 'location, location,
location. That would be why."
Obama stated that if he did sell Alaska, he'd give
residents there a chance to move before Russia took
ownership. "You have to know I'd be fair to those
folks", he said.
Obama appeared to become irritated when several
reporters asked him if he was considering the sale of
Hawaii, as well.
"You know when you want everybody to have
everything, when the environment trumps business-
money can be a problem. Well, I solve problems." , he
said.
Said Obama, "I'm not saying that I am selling Hawaii,
but if I did, I think I'd have some opposition from
hate-filled right wing extremists on talk radio but the
people there would be just fine. I mean they're kind of
separate already and they even have their own
language and everything."

Obama to Sell Alaska- Says
Russian Source.
By Sheila J. Murphy, Editor in Chief
Not Giving Obama the Benefit of the Doubt? Oh, Yeah, I'm Guilty!
I'm already receiving a great deal of criticism for "assuming the worst" about our new President and "not giving him a fair
chance". It is true. I am absolutely guilty as charged. I am anticipating the very worst. If a miracle should occur and President
Obama were to govern as a mild-mannered moderate who actually stood against the radical left-wing agenda proposed by
Soros, Pelosi, Frank and the like, then I would humbly and publicly beg forgiveness. But I don't think I will have to do that and
we, those who are fighting to save conservatism in our country, cannot stand by for a few months to see how things "shake out".
We cannot spare that time. We must work every moment to learn and plan and prepare. Should our preparations not be
needed, we'd rejoice. But as it is , we must expect the worst- but pray for the best.
Campaign Carl, You're the Big Story, Here!
It's never a good thing when those charged with conveying the news becomes the news. Unfortunately, Fox News reporter Carl
Cameron has again achieved that distinction. O'reilly has been tap dancing as fast as he can to escape The spattering fallout
from Cameron's recent sliming of Sarah. He's claimed that it was news because he trusted Cameron to bring him news- not
irresponsible hearsay. What about it Carl? Can you verify sources in stories that can potentially end a career? You said they
were highly placed McCain aids. The whole of the campaign has denied feeding you the ooze. It is unfortunate that your
sources threw you under the bus, Carl, if that is what happened. No, Bill you did not need to report unsubstantiated stories
without attribution. You say you HAD to report the news- but if we'd heard this news from a legitimate source, we'd have also
heard, AT THE SAME TIME, the response of the subject or at least that considerable efforts had been made to reach them for
comment. We didn't hear that as part of Carl's story. The choice to air the story without it was Bill's. The spin may stop there but
apparently the buck doesn't. But keep, dancing buddy. Another noteworthy element was Carl Cameron's demeanor when
giving that initial report. His lipsmacking glee was unseemly. Even when O'Reilly tried to talk over him, Cameron fought back
hard to make sure every juicy tidbit was heard. He reminded one of a beauty parlor busybody- oh so anxious to share the latest
morsel of hot gossip. Remember that in the Primary, FOX was frequently under fire because of Cameron's obvious efforts to
support his admitted buddy, Huckabee and his equally obvious efforts to report anything negative on Romney and anybody
else who stood between Huck and the WhiteHouse. Carl- just report the NEWS, please.
An Election Day Exchange
I would feel better about the Obama victory if I thought it had been based on the voters' decision to embrace a definite ideology.
It was not. Many Obama supporters did cast their votes with the noblest of intentions and the purest of hearts, but for many
others it was something else.
Throughout the campaign, Obama's salespitch was always there- darting around behind the casual wit, florid hyperbole and
"conservative" vernacular. For those who were listening for it, it was always there-in every issue- in every campaign promise:
MONEY. It was always about MONEY. Every day he let these voters know that if they voted for him, in return, somehow,
someday, he would make sure they got money- stimulus checks, forgiven loans, cheap insurance, free health care- whatever.
They floated to the polling places, basking in the warm fantasy of being coddled cradle to grave by a loving government.
So, on November 4th, many of us went to vote with hands extended in needy, greedy supplication. They marked their ballots
and kept their part of the bargain.
For them, it wasn't an election. It was a transaction.
Think we Elected the First Black President? Think Again.
Somebody should have warned Al, Jesse, Jeremiah, Louis and all their cohorts: Be careful what you wish for- it might come true.
It HAS. Now there is statistical proof of what I've known all along. For the vast majority of "white" Americans color or race means
very, very little. One would expect endless jubilation from these guys. I predict they will barely be able to keep smiling through
the Inauguration. Then, they will begin to tell America that they didn't really elect a black President at all. Why?
Self-preservation. These guys' livelihoods- their careers- their importance- their NEWSWORTHINESS depends on racial
discord. With such a gigantic milestone in race relations, they face unemployment, like the rest of us. Be prepared to hear in the
near future from all sorts of civil rights activists that "Barrack Obama is only partially black, does not represent the black
community- too exceptional, too ivy league, was elected because of individual characteristics and that his election is
meaningless in the continuing racial struggle in America." I know, it sounds crazy, but brace yourselves.
