We weren’t prepared for this. We thought we knew what liberals were. We had an image in our minds.
We saw liberals as hippies that never grew out of the phase. Liberals were people who saw a large and
intrusive government as the solution to every problem and the cure to every social ill. We thought that
liberals hate business and view it largely as an evil robber of the poor. We saw liberals as haters of war
and of actions that would curtail illegal immigration and be too hard on the criminal element.
Although the face of liberalism has become collectively more strident and nasty since 9/11, still we thought
liberals were misguided but benign- caring of humanity.
There is a new faction of liberalism. It is not so benign. So different in tone is this new liberalism from the
tone of the over-the-hill-hippy liberal that America is having some difficulty processing it. But process it we
must, for New Liberalism has a profound influence on the current White House.
New Liberalism is based in a strange dichotomy. New Liberals want government programs to care for the
every need of the people. New Liberals are also realistic enough to see that funding this massive
government is going to be extremely difficult and stripping the wealthy of their money will not do it. New
liberals believe that the other half of the equation is to streamline the people. This so-called health care
reform is basically a battleplan for that streamlining process. The new Liberals have taken off their
headbands and replaced their peace signs with another hand gesture. Unlike original hippies who
disdained materialism, for New Liberals it is all about the money and funding the program. This priority
trumps all others.
Therefore, it is acceptable that the goal of using health care reform as a device to streamline the American
people. The myriad of programs in HR3200 for example if all followed to their logical conclusions will
produce a young, productive American people, free of illness, defect, age or disease. It will then be
possible and affordable for the government to cover the needs of this new, improved populace.
We must come to terms with this New Liberalism that is not guided by hazy cloud of love and peace but by
cold, hard utilitarianism. New liberals are not being secretive. A little research reveals their plan of action:
discourage the birth of babies in general and vigorously invest in all research and practice that will identify
potential health problems, defects and disabilities in human fetuses so that action can be taken to be sure
that those babies are not born. This is nothing personal to New Liberals. It is simply necessary action to
keep future health care costs down. Next the plan calls for culling out existing persons who are too
expensive to maintain. The many New Liberal initiatives that appear on the surface to be only efforts at
controlling human behavior can also be used to usher the expensively unwell, disabled and unfit and
elderly, more quickly along the road to death. Again, nothing personal. This is all about costs and
productivity.
Even traditional liberals are dismayed. The New Liberals are alien to the traditional liberals. They don’t
oppose war because killing is wrong. They pick and choose wars to support based on political
expediency. They don’t love everybody, only those who can produce for the cause. They don’t support
freedom of speech, but rather communication that is sculpted and contained. Traditionals are confused
and worried.
We, Conservatives, may defeat the New Liberals in this single health care battle, but that victory will stand
alone if we do not learn now how to recognize and understand the New Liberalism. Their NanyState is by
invitation only.

EMERGENCY ALERT: The monitoring staff reports that
recent statements by Representative Alan Grayson,
Democrat from Florida, has put the meters into overdrive.
Monitoring reports cite the recent outburst of Rep. Joe
Wilson, Republican of South Carolina. During a Speech
before a Joint Session of Congress deliverd by President
Obama, Wilson, overcome by frustration, had blurted out
"You lie". Although, it had later been found that the
President's statement had been untrue, Wilson had
immediately apologized to the President. However, Leader
Pelosi nonetheless decided that, despite critical and urgent
issues, the US House should take a day to trash and
condemn Wilson.
Now, compare Wilson's unpremeditated exclamation to the
statements made by Grayson, during session. Grayson
accused all Republicans of wanting people to die and to die
quickly. He equated all Republicans to Nazis by describing
their opposition to ObamaCare as a "Holocaust". Grayson
had charts as proof of his premeditation. His presentation
included many, many personal insults to Republicans. Since
that time, Grayson has publicly made several other extremely
derrogatory remarks about Rebublicans/Conservatives.

A Roar from the Right-
Battlefield Communiques
for Conservatives on the Front Line:
A Nation Of Laws? I Disagree!
On this darkest of days our President and his Attorney General
have a rare opportunity to express in tandem their contempt for
our country. They are injecting prisoners of war into our civil
legal system. They are doing it because they know already that
all confessions and evidence will be thrown out because of
conditions of duress and a lack of the kind of due process an
arrested criminal would receive here. In short it will be a miracle
if these terrorists are not set free. Houlder and Obama know
this- have designed this. They think it will move them closer to
heading up a world government, It will please George Soros
and it will give them endless opportunities to criticize the Bush
Administration.
From this day on, they will wrap themselves in variations on the
theme: " We are a nation of laws".
We are a nation of laws. We are a nation of laws. I've heard it
over and over from Conservatives and liberals alike. It is uttered
as a solid and universally unquestioned truth. Allow me the
honor of questioning- no disagreeing.
We are a nation of people. We a nation of people the majority
of whom share values. These values are expressed by laws.
And-yes- we obey our laws while they exist but they exist at our
whim. Laws are not gods. They are our devices. Sometimes
they are imperfect devices. That is why we amend them. We
repeal them, overturn them, add to them, reinterpret them and
question them.
It is the "spirit" of our laws that guide us, not the statutes
themselves. We are not a nation of laws.
The laws did not demand that these terrorists be brought to our
shore for a courtroom spectacle. That was an Obamanesque
political move. To the contrary. There is a reason that terrorists
and war criminals have not been handled via the civil/criminal
judicial system. It is for the protection of the populace.
Americans on the battlefield cannot "mirandize" prisoners and
be victorious. If terrorists came to our shores and planted
bombs, not just in commercial buildings but in toy stores and
grade schools, "enhanced interrogation techniques" such as
water-boarding would not just be acceptable, they would be
demanded. The spirit of our laws dictates our protection.
A Nation of laws? Don't allow the leftists to hide behind this
slogan. We are a nation of people- people who will fight for their
freedom and their American values.- a people who will actually
fight against bad laws and bad lawmakers and an
Administration that betrays their interests.
Rather than of laws, I would like to say we are a nation of
Justice. However, I do not believe that justice will be done in
New York Courtrooms and it is our laws that will be used to
shield these terrorists against that justice.
What we are is a nation at risk.

Why Does Obama
Bow Before Other
Nations?
I do not hesitate to assign a darker motive to our President when I think
it is warranted. I do think that as a boy and young man he was never
told that our country was great because it was free- that we were a
wealthy and successful country because our freedoms allowed and
nurtured that. He was told we were successful because we stepped on
others. He was told we were wealthy because we were ruthlessly
greedy. He believes that all to be true and that's why it doesn't bother
him to bow before the leader of another nation. However, I really don't
think that is WHY he does it. As I often say, the United States is merely
a political stepping stone to this man. He seeks world domination.
That's why kicking the USA down several notches and trashing the
economy is acceptable to him. No, he's still in campaign mode and he is
campaigning for President of the world. When he bows it is just another
campaign gesture for him- much like shaking hands or kissing babies!

Make Sure Your Senators
Understand the Tale of the Bucket
Here's a cautionary tale every Senator should understand:
Once upon a time a boy named Barry O brought a bucket up to THE
HIlL and he told the kids in his club, the blue Club that he wanted them
to take the bucket back to home camp and to force all the kids there
to drink it.
Whatever you say", they chorused.
But the smaller group, the Red Club thought that the bucket was
nothing but a disgusting, stinking pail of swill and sewage and
refused. The kids in the Blue Club kept harrassing the Red Club,
repeating over and over, "The home camp needs a bucket. You'll look
bad if you come home without a bucket. You have to help us make
this bucket more likeable.
So the earnest but stupid Red Club helped. They helped put pretty
ribbons to disguise the ugly bucket. They drain a little of the sewage
out and put some artificial floweres in in it. and just before they
reached thehome camp they helped the Blue Club Spray it with lots of
perfume so the home kids would like it. They all sent a messenger to
tell the home kids they'd have to buy the bucket now but wouldn't have
to drink it until later.
This made the kids at the Home Camp uneasy. They could smell that
bucket from miles away. And then they could see it It was huge and
horrible. It had Blue Kids dragging a handle on one side and Red
Kids dragging a handle on the other. Smelly, vile sewage slopped out
at every step. The Home Kids could not believe that they were going
to be forced to drink all that. They began throwing stones at all the
Kids.
"Wait" We only tried to make it better!" yelled a Red Kid.
So What! answered the Home Kids. "You're bringing it to us just like
they are!"
And so the angry Home Kids kept throwing stones and yelling until all
the Red and the Blue Kids and run away and left their clubs. Then
they kicked the bucket over.
The moral of the story is simple. If a bunch of jerks try to persuade you
to force a bucket of sewage on your constituents- just walk away. You
won't get any credit for trying to make it smell better.

Headed to the movies? AVOID AVATAR!
I’m a special effects fan so I was looking forward to AVATAR. However, I’ve read some reviews and have decided to
skip it. It seems that egomonster director James Cameron has spent $300 Million Bucks ostensibly to put humanity
down. The movie is a high priced sermon about evil military/industrial humans trying to destroy the far-advanced,
peace-loving blue folk so we can imperialistically grab their stunningly beautiful planet. Oh Please!! I have had enough
of this crap! It is spewing from everywhere now. All the self-important, I’m-too-cool-to-be-human sycophants who circle
around George Soros’s drain have their own offerings- Scientists who lie and fabricate to make Americans feel guilty
for being an advanced industrialized nation- journalists who think abortion is sacred because it eliminates earth’s
ultimate pest: a human baby. The entire liberal movement has become an anti-human movement. They are beating
optimism out of our children and squeezing the last vestige of hope from our elderly. And where can we go to escape?
To the movie theatre- to pay a small fortune to sit in a darkened room to be made to feel guilty and worthless, evil and
feeble because we are human beings? I don’t think so! One of my Christmas wishes this year is that at least American
Human Beings will show a little pride and backbone as they walk right by Avatar. Let’s give Cameron something real
over which to lose his legendary temper.- Sheila J. Murphy, Editor.
First it was Obama's Bill. Then it
was Pelosi's and then Reid's....
But As of Now- It's Ben Nelson's Bill

If they dust the murder weapon for prints the only one's they'll see now are Ben
Nelson's.
He's boasted that the Bill now reflects answers and solutions to all of his concerns.
Nobody else is claiming so much ownership of this opus. I guess it's all Ben's.
He claims that he could still change his vote after the Report is issued reflecting input of
the House and Senate. There is little doubt that Pelosi's minions in the House will make
it as close to her liberal wish list as possible. There is a very slim hope Nelson will
change his vote. It is worth the effort of continued expressions of public will to Nelson as
well as all Senators and Representatives.
I believe the hope is so slim because Nelson has crossed a line- one of those lines
once crossed cannot be crossed again. His treatment of Nebraska Right to Life
exposed a political expediency behind his pro-life stance. I do not believe pro-lifers will
be fooled again.
I ordinarily like it when a duplicitous politician is unmasked. However, in this case I wish
it had never happened. The circumstances that facilitated this revelation will cost our
nation dearly.- Sheila J. Murphy, Editor
Why the Delay in Obama's Response
to the Christmas Day Bombing?
There is tremendous speculation as to the President's delay in public response to
the failed Al Qaeda Christmas Day terror attack. Some seem to think the delay
springs from the President's assessment that the event was not grave enough to
warrant holiday interruption. I don;t really think that is the case. Others believe the
delay stemmed from time spent in gathering information and careful preparation. If
you heard the statement, you know that was not the case.
All one needed to do was to see Obama's face when he made his initial statement on
December 28th at an Hawaii Marine base. Yep there it was the- the pencil-thin
moustache that Obama grows on the occasions when he wants a little
extra oomph with his diplomatic outreach to the Muslim community.
Obama delayed 3 days because it takes him that long to grow one.
Facial hair is protocol for Muslim males and I can see how Obama would think that
gesture would make his words more sympathetic.
Just as Michelle did not accompany him to Muslim lands, he has produced this
pencil-thin nod to the culture before. He will again. It is no new lesson to see how far
this President will go to ingratiate himself, as an individual leader, to other counties.
the new lesson for today is to identify the times when it is the growth of new sacial
hair and not briefings that produce sluggish delays in White House comminication.
The kind of Three Day Diplomacy you have to shave...
Reid's Racist Remarks? There's a Much Bigger Picture to Be Seen.
The self-proclaimed monitors of Political Correctness in our culture have been working overtime to make
sure that any Conservative/Republican with any public cachet at all is held to the highest standard of
expression and even their unintentional transgressions viewed through the lens of the most thin-skinned
and sensitive. This attitude has left may a political career in the dumpster. I cannot blame Conservatives
and Republicans for their glee and excitement at the possibility of force feeding the Democrats a huge
dose of their own medicine. I don't blame them but i hope we don't overlook some other lessons in the
process.
Reid's apology to Obama is meaningless. It is simply another skit put together by the reality show
producers who are putting together our government today. Why should Reid apologize to Obama because
he inadvertently repeated portions of what I am sure were plentiful strategy conversations that not only
were about Obama but included him.
Obama was not selected as the figurehead of the liberal juggernaut by accident. No Obama was selected
for his natural attributes and for his willingness and skill in cultivating the talents that would made any con
man proud.
The conversations that Reid parroted were about a great deal more than candidate Obama's racial and
ethical qualities. His remarks only reflect the campaign communication strategy executed by
George Soros and other ultra-left power brokers. Obama himself has told us. When he describes himself as a blank screen upon which others can
project whatever they like, Obama is talking about the same thing that Reid discussed. Obama's physical attributes and his carefully honed
dramatic skills give him the ability to not only say what an audience wants to hear but to BE EXACTLY WHO THEY WANT HIM TO BE. An audience
of black or African-American listeners will hear him use the language and affectations that they do. They will perceive him to be just like them. The
incredibly talented Obama can wall across the hall to a white southern audience and transform his communication style to be perceived as one of
them. He can be blue collar poor for that audience and a few minutes later steep himself in Harvard snobbery for another audience. He can be
accepted by Muslims in an audience of Muslims. He can be a San Fransisco liberal or a Midwestern conservative. A room of America-disparaging
Europeans he will be perceived as one, himself.
We've seen politicians sell a bill of goods to the whole of the American people before but I believe this is the first time that we've seen a great
impostor sell separate bills of good, each custom-fitted to a different race, a different ethnicity, a different economic level- a different culture.
The Democrats don't mind at all the Republican calls that Reid be branded and punished as Trent Lott was. As long as that is going on then no
one is realizing that Reid' was really spilling the beans on a great con job. In reality, Reid should not be apologising to Barack Obama. He should be
joining Obama in an apology to the entire nation for running the gigantic scam that is the chameleon-like persona of Barack Obama.

A Roar from the Right-
Battlefield Communiques for Conservatives on the Front Line:
Sarah Held Her Ground on Third Party Issue
Private Security Force Moves into Small
Montana Town...
If you are a regular viewer/ listener of Glenn Beck- and I am- then you know that our favorite investigative pundit has an obvious
obsession with abandoning the Republican Party in favor of a third party.
He pressed Sarah Palin on this issue during his hour-long interview with the former Governor. He asked the question in various forms
and tried hard to pull the magic words out of her- the words that she was fed up with the GOP and ready to join him in launching a third
party. The magic phrases never came.
Palin acknowledged that there were times when she was "tempted" to jump ship but made it clear that she was a believer in the TWO
party system. Palin also expressed optimism for the future of the Party and pointed out some of the fine work being done by
Republicans in the trenches in the House and Senate.
I admire her steadfastness. She hasn't always been treated well by Party leaders and operatives in her state and on the national level.
Yet, she displayed both wisdom and maturity in her ability to separate the basic precepts and platform planks of the Party from the
failures of some individuals within the organization. Clearly, Palin sees the disaster that will come if we try to defeat the Democrat Party
at its most powerful with an opposition that is split and the political party structure that is built into our present system abandoned and
unused by the good guys.
Palin did not mince words and I hope Glenn Beck was listening. Like many of us, Beck still remembers anger at past failings by GOP
elected officials and leaders. However, many of the rest of us, like Palin, can still see value in the Party as a collective.
As Beck said, this was more of a conversation than an interview and as such we learned much about both parties. I walked away with
wishes for both of them. I hope that Sarah Palin continues to work hard for I see her abilities to express her clear and decisive thinking
with ease and skill is growing exponentially. I hope that Glenn Beck will review some of his own writings about redemption and
forgiveness when he considers the Republican Party. Literally millions of people have forgiven Glenn Beck his past transgressions.
Perhaps he could give the GOP another chance. Maybe he could remember that the Party is not just a few leaders in the news- it is
millions of Americans- it is me. When he makes a mass condemnation he condemns me and all the patriotic, honest Republicans I
communicate with every day. My last hope is that Beck will be able to put aside his bitterness toward Republicans who failed him a few
years ago and read the Party Platform. I hope he will read it with the same level of consideration with which he read Paine's Common
Sense. Then I hope Beck will do as Palin does- realize that the best shot at saving our nation right now is a strong, cohesive and very
Conservative Republican Party.
Achieving that will not be easy. It will certainly not be as easy as saying "To hell with both the parties." It will take sacrifice and
determination but it is the only viable answer. Just ask Sarah Palin.

Obama and Woods find Common Ground
After meeting with President Barack
Obama at the White House, Tiger
Woods has made a startling statement.
Appearing before a small group of
hand-picked reporters Woods stated
that he has come to realize that the
blame for his recent personal
difficulties can be laid at the feet of
former President George Bush.
“Barack helped me to see that my bad
behavior began and flourished during
the long, dark years of the ‘Lost Decade’ the name that Barack has so brilliantly
given to the time over which Bush reigned”
Woods continued to state that President Obama had helped him to understand that
he “inherited” his bad behavior from the corrupt Bush-era culture in exactly the same
way that the President had inherited out-of control federal spending.
“This is a tough time for me”, said Woods. “But it makes me feel good to know that
President Obama and I continue to have so much in common.”
When asked if he would reverse or change his behavior, Woods responded with a
shrug.
“I don’t know. People have to realize that Barack and I are just victims facing a
horrible struggle against what we inherited from Bush.”

March 2
On this day in history in 1934, The movie "King Kong"
Premiered in NYC
Commentary: Also on the this day the very popular "Sound of Music"
premiered in 1965. What do these two giants in entertainment history have in
common? They were entertainment. Yes, there was a certain moral
underpinning in both plots, but that was intrinsic in the stories, themselves. They
were not crafted to preach or to change political opinions. They were honest in
their intent.
We seldom find such intellectual honesty today. Film makers, more often than
not, only use their films as the camouflge for their real intent. They want to make
an extreme statement on environmentalism as James Cameron did in "Avatar".
His special effects were not intended to entertain as much as to alter the
thinking of his audience. He wants his young viewers, most particularly to regret
being American and moreover to feel a tremendous guilt for being a human.
For Cameron sees the American military as villainous and humans as the
enemies of the planet. We he to have the integrity of his Hollywood
predecessors, he'd be honest about his intentions.
Another Oscar contender that comes to mind is "The Hurt Locker". It is more
cinema pretending to be entertainment- just a gripping apolitical war story. Any
American serving in the Middle East can tell you that this movie is malicious
fallacy. It is designed to change the thinking of the viewer, creating a negative
attitude toward the American military.
The bottom line is that movies are more than "art"- they are products. Many of
these products will continue to dishonest in nature as long as the American
public allows itself to be hypnotized and mislead but pretty pictures that lie. -sjm

A Roar from the Right-
Battlefield Communiques
for Conservatives on the Front Line:
As we often discuss in the Conservative's Lexicon, the opposition makes great
use of language . They will redefine a word or phrase and then proceed to use
it as bludgeon or as a disguise. Never has their misuse of words been more
malicious than now as the HealthCare plot reaches a climax.
The way Machine Obama uses the word "Bipartisan" is absolutely astounding-
and it is a deadly trap. In an earlier Roar (below) I equate the HealthCare Bill
with a bucket of sewage.I still think a bucket of sewage with some perfumed
sprayed on it does paint a vivid picture. However, in view of Obama's phony
summit ans subsequent statements by his minion, perhaps we should consider
the existing Senate Bill as a house. The Blue Construction Company won the
contract although some Red Co Workers won the right to be on the site and to
speak out.. From the very beginning, Red Co. Workers have been objecting to
the faulty materials and shoddy workmanship. They repeatedly brought better
materials and new blueprints but Foreman Obama told them to pipe down and
to stop being so negative.
Eventually the people who were supposed to live in the house stopped by the
site and were appalled and angry. Foreman Obama had filled it so full of his
own stuff, there was very little room for the people. Outside they could see no
foundation, spindly support, broken windows, cracked walls and only half a
roof. The people stayed around and started yelling at the Blue Co. They
stayed for a long, long time. Fortunately they brought some thermoses of tea.
At length, Foreman Obama emerged from his deluxe, air-conditioned trailer. He
saw the angry mob.
His first action was to scold the Red Co for trying to deprive the people of the
house they needed. He dismissed their cries of a house that would crumble.
However, he said he'd be magnanimous and include a few of their materials
and some elements from their blueprints. And so, he put pretty colored boards
over the windows. He put a nice new tarp over the open roof. He planted
bushes all around to conceal the lack of the foundation and he painted to hide
the cracks.
"There!", Foreman Obama announced."The Red Co wanted the foundation,
the windows the roof and the walls fixed and I've done it. Now I will tell the
people both companies fixed it together."
The people shouted in Anger. This was not Bipartisan. It was not built by both
companies. It is NOT what we want. And for all his talk Foreman Obama left all
of his junk in our house and we don't want that!"
So that's the moral of the story. Make a simple statement and make it
loudly: "None of the so-called compromise has removed the houseful
of unwanted programs. It is NOT what we want and it is in no way a
bipartisan compromise!"
